Following the shocking sexual assault in Sandwell Valley earlier this year, Sarah Coombes MP worked alongside local residents, the police and Sandwell Council to support the community's call for safer public spaces. The powerful Reclaim the Valley community walk showed just how much local people value their parks and green spaces.
Everyone deserves to feel safe when visiting their local park. That's why Sarah is campaigning to tackle violence, antisocial behaviour and abuse in our parks, while pushing for the investment and improvements residents want to see.
