I was delighted to be invited to meet with the committee at Gurdwara Guru Har Rai Sahib on West Bromwich High Street in December, and hear about the great work they are doing in the community. The Gudwara a
lready provides free food to many people, and I heard about how their new pizza oven means they’ll be able to deliver even more.
This is sadly necessary as the Gudwara committee told me that due to the cost of living crisis there are more people than ever before in need of their help.
Our next Labour MP for West Bromwich East needs to work closely with all our communities and if I am selected I Iook forward to being a friend and ally of the Gurdwara.
