It was a privilege to attend the Armed Forces’ Day celebrations on Saturday 24th June. In the morning we remembered and recognised those who serve and have served. We were joined by representatives of the Army, Navy and Air Force at the celebrations, which took place at the Dartmouth Park war memorial.
The Mayor of Sandwell marked the occasion with a speech, before we enjoyed a day of fun for armed forces families and the wider community.
